How to Connect and Transfer Files between Two PC`s using LAN cable (Ethernet)?

 Tranfers Files Between 2 PC`s or Laptop using LAN Cable at VERY FASTER SPEEDS!!!

Inorder to Tranfer Files Between Two PC`s also U like to share INTERNET Connection.....

Follow The Steps Below To achieve this! 

Common Requirements :

• LAN Cable (Cross over Ethernet Cable) to connect PC`s.

•  TWO PC`s or Laptop`s....  

ON PC ONE:

Step 1: Open RUN (WINKEY + R) >> Type NCPA.CPL [HIT ENTER] 
           
  

 
Step 2:  

•       Now, on Network Connections >>

•       Right-Click Ethernet (win 8) or LOCAL AREA NETWORK (WIN7 or XP) .                         
  

•      Click Properties >> check File and Printer Sharing for microsoft networks >> then Click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) >>> use following IP address >>                 on, IP ADDRESS >>Type an IP example : 192.168.137.1 and Press TAB it auto FILLS SUBNET as 255.255.255.0 and Press OK.                                                                                                
  
• Now, Goto Network and Sharing Center >>> Change Advanced Sharing Settings >> Goto  to Both Private and Public or Goto ALL NETWORKS (on Win 8) >> CLICK on Turn ON Sharing so anyone can access.......
  also Check Turn ON network Discovery..
• Turn Off Password Protection (THIS IS OPTIONAL)
  
• On Both Public and Private Networks TURN OFF Password Protection....(THIS IS OPTIONAL)  but if u like to share Files easily PLZ TURN OFF......!
• Click Ok or SAVE CHANGES. and Close.
•  
  

ON PC TWO:  (FOR IMAGES FOLLOW SAME ON PC ONE BUT CHANGE

                                                                                    IP TO 192.168.137.2 )

Step 1: Open RUN (WINKEY + R) >> Type NCPA.CPL [HIT ENTER] 
Step 2:  

•       Now, on Network Connections >>

•       Right-Click Ethernet (win 8) or LOCAL AREA NETWORK (WIN7 or XP) .

•      Click Properties >> check File and Printer Sharing for microsoft networks >> then Click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) >>> use following IP address >>                 on, IP ADDRESS >>Type an IP example : 192.168.137.2 and Press TAB it auto FILLS SUBNET as 255.255.255.0 and Press OK.

•  Turn Off Password Protection (THIS IS OPTIONAL)

• On Both Public and Private Networks TURN OFF Password Protection....(THIS IS OPTIONAL)  but if u like to share Files easily PLZ TURN OFF......!
• Click Ok or SAVE CHANGES. and Close.

Now , Connect >>> LAN CABLE between two ETHERNET (RJ 45) pins.

 

TO SHARE A LOCAL DRIVE ON COMPUTER(VERY IMPORTANT PART)

Step 1: Select Anyone Local Drive (example D: ) >>> Right-Click >> Properties>>Select Sharing >> Advanced Sharing >> Click Share This Folder >> Permissions >>check Full control >> OK!

Step 2: Select SameLocal Drive (example D: ) >>> Right-Click >> Properties>>> Security >>>ADVANCED >>> on OWNER Click CHANGE >>> now Type EVERYONE >>>OK. (WAIT while Changing Ownership).

Step 3: On Same SECURITY >>> EDIT >>> ADD >>> AGAIN Type EVERYONE >>>OK.

Step 4: Again, Check EVERYONE >>> CLICK FULL CONTROL>>> OK!.  

 

 TO SHARE MORE DRIVES REPEAT ABOVE STEPS ON ANOTHER DRIVE!

 FINAL STEPS TO CONNECT FOR FILE TRANFER`S:

•  OPEN RUN (WINKEY + R) on PC TWO>>> TYPE PC ONE`s IP:  \\192.168.137.1 or \\URPCName example(Creators-PC) >> NOW ,UR SHARED DRIVE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON NETWORK!
• Thats iT! YOU CAN TRANSFER FILES AND FOLDERS AT 11 mbps to 55 MBPS SPEEDS............

 NOTES: SOME COMMON ERRORS ARE

•  Typing Wrong IP on PC TWO`s RUN or  using wrong "//".
• Some, Common Security Settings Errrors That which u done in TO SHARE LOCAL DRIVE STEPS.

       TRY iT,LEARN and REMOVE THESE ERRORS.!!!!

INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING:

ON PC ONE:

• Open RUN (WINKEY + R) >> Type NCPA.CPL [HIT ENTER]
• Choose your DATACARD adapter >>>Properties >>>Sharing>>>Click > allow other Networks use Internet Connection>>> Select ETHERNET or LOCAL AREA CONNECTION.  (ON PC ONE) 

ON PC TWO:

• IF u Prefer to Share Your PC (ONE`s) Internet Connection on PC (TWO)see Step2 > 3rd point > Type on 2nd PC`s >> DEFAULT GATEWAY as YOUR FIRST PC`s IP (i.e) >192.168.137.1

• Click OK.
• Thats all ,Your PC`s ONE Internet Will be shared on PC TWO by using datacard from PC ONE.

Thats iT, You Achieved BOTH FILE SHARING & INTERNET SHARING!!!!!
