How to increase network speed
GET BACK YOUR BANDWIDTH(SPEED)
Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc
You can get it back By these Steps:
Step 1: Click Start then Run(WINKEY + R) and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.
Step 2: Computer Configuration >>>Administrative Templates>>>Network>>>
QOS Packet Scheduler>>>Limit Reservable Bandwidth.
It is not configured, By default, the Packet Scheduler uses 80% of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default by changing it to 0% !"
